Fuller Center NY Responds

This is what we call fire season, which comes before the floodseason. We have assisted many families in the Mount Vernon fire, School Street Yonkers fires, a New Rochelle fire, and am in contact with helping Mamaroneck fire victims. Every day is like a month’s time in a disaster, and our team responds with clothing, gift cards, expertise, finding housing when possible, and being there for those in need. Donations are always welcome as we hit the ground running and stay in contact with families, not just in the immediate, but for the long run. Please be safe, and have a go bag, have a plan. In the winter we use more electrical outlets, heaters, etc., which creates a demand on our use and also more risk for fires. For questions email dart@fullercenterny.org

Celebrating our Martin Luther King, Jr. Build-a-Thon

Dr. King reminds us that “ Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” At the Fuller Center for Housing of Greater New York, they see that truth daily. Service isn’t abstract there, it’s the ‘Theology of the Hammer,’ with neighbors lifting neighbors. When we choose to serve, we don’t just build homes, we build dignity, stability, and the kind of community Dr. King envisioned. That’s the greatness we’re called out to live!

Honorary chair for 2026 MLK Build-a-Thon

The Millard Fuller Award was recently presented to Luca Minnich, an undergrad from WashU.
